The Findlay Police Department was called to the emergency room at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Sunday night.
51-year-old Robert Durain of Findlay checked himself into the hospital for treatment after falling victim to a felonious assault. The assault happened outside the residence of 1241 Bernard Avenue in Findlay earlier in the evening. Officials say the victim was hit over the head with a hammer after an argument with a friend of Durain's. While no arrests have been made, police are looking to talk with the man identified as 38-year-old Robert Brown Sr.
