"Really, the goal is to be able to set students up for success when they go back to school. There's lots of school supply lists out there, but your basic pens, pencils, notebooks. Anything that students will need to really be set up for success as they start the school year," said Jessica Hall, McDonald's owner and operator.
Anyone who drops off supplies will receive a coupon for a free breakfast bagel and a McCafe drink.
This year, there's an added incentive for those who donate. Anyone who drops off supplies will receive a coupon for a free breakfast bagel and a McCafe drink. The donation boxes will be inside McDonald's locations until August 5th. Tom Ahl and Your Hometown Stations will also be collecting school supplies during the drive.
