COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove enters the state semifinals riding a 10-game winning streak after a 31-6 victory over Leipsic in the regional final. The Bulldogs started the season 0-3 but have since surged to reach Week 15 for the fourth straight year.
In each of their previous three state semifinal appearances, the Bulldogs were eliminated by a MAC opponent. They now have an opportunity to change that narrative as they face St. Henry, the team that ended Marion Local’s 76-game winning streak last Friday.
Head coach Andy Schafer says his team understands the challenge ahead but remains focused on taking care of business and capitalizing on the opportunity in front of them.
