LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â Mercy Health-Saint Rita's is looking to hire in almost every department.
They will be holding an open house hiring event at the end of the month. The medical center is in need of employees and is working hard to get them. The hiring event will have representatives from more than a dozen departments. The administration says there could be on-the-spot offers during the event to fill open positions.
"Big shortages everywhere but what kind of sets us apart is a few different things. Tuition assistance, reimbursement, we'll pay for your school 100%, things like that depending on what area you're going into. Along with other several benefits that we have increased to draw that attention to us. Again, the end goal here is to just find folks that what to help make a difference and an impact in the local community," explained Jeremy Amstutz, Mercy Health-St. Rita's recruiter.
The hiring event is being held Saturday, September 24th in the main lobby of St. Rita's. The open house for new graduates will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and an open house for the general public interested in employment will be from noon to 3 p.m. They have teamed up with Ohio Means Jobs Allen County as well.
