It was a special story time at the Lima Public Library Friday morning as youngsters got a chance to talk with a very important woman.

Mrs. Claus greeted the children as they participated in the library's "Jingle Bell Bash". It was a morning full of fun and games and a chance to ask Mrs. Claus to put in a good word for them with Santa. Parents and grandparents say they enjoy bringing the kids to the library for events like this.

"I took a few days off work here to spend some time with the family and the wife said we're going to the library so this is the first time I've come with them but they've been coming for a few years and things like this is what makes Lima a great little community, you know these little programs are pretty cool," said Justin Walter, who brought kids to the event.

"We've enjoyed listening to the books, and playing the games, and coloring, and all the fun stuff that goes along with it, they do a good job here at the library," complimented Maryann Schaublin, who brought her granddaughters.

The Lima Public Library, located at 650 W Market St, Lima, OH 45801, traditionally holds a story time each Wednesday and Friday and will resume them the first Wednesday in February.
