BEAVERDAM, OH (WLIO) - Several area departments responded to a barn fire on Thursday. Around 5 p.m., Beaverdam Richland Fire and Rescue was called out to a fully engulfed barn fire on North Dixie Highway. The fire was contained in about an hour, but the structure and its contents, including lawn mowers, a motorcycle, and various equipment, are a total loss. The Cairo and Bluffton Fire Departments provided mutual aid. There were no injuries, and the cause is still under investigation.
