Northwest Ohio Literacy Council looking for volunteers

The Northwest Ohio Literacy Council is putting out a call for volunteers to help change lives.

The Literacy Council reports that one in six adults in Lima can only read at a 3rd grade level. Their mission is to change that number, one person at a time. To do that, volunteers are needed to share their love of reading with someone else. The council will be holding a tutoring session Wednesday, November 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. in their office at 563 West Spring Street. Call 419-223- 0252 for more info.
