JOGGING WITH JOHNNY
On Mon., Nov., 18 at 5:00 p.m. THE JOHNNY APPLESEED METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT will offer JOGGING WITH JOHNNY at HERITAGE PARK – VETERANS SHELTER (2092 Reed Rd., Lima, OH).
Experience autumn in the parks and “fall” into fitness with a Johnny Appleseed accountabili-buddy! Join Naturalist Lindsey for a warm-up walk and a few laps around Heritage Park. All ages and abilities welcome in their fitness journey! Dress for the weather and come out rain or shine! Meet at the Veterans Shelter to sign in.

ALLEN COUNTY NATURAL HISTORY
On Mon., Nov. 18 at 6:00 p.m. THE JOHNNY APPLESEED METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT along with the LIMA PUBLIC LIBRARY are partnering to bring you ALLEN COUNTY NATURAL HISTORY to be held at the Library.
Allen County has been named on a map for around 200 years, but nature here has been doing its thing for much longer than that! Join a naturalist for an overview of the history of our area from a natural perspective. The Library will have a selection of books on this topic available for your further learning!

LATE FALL HIKE
On Fri., Nov. 22 at 9:00 a.m. THE JOHNNY APPLESEED METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT will lead a LATE FALL HIKE at MOTTER METRO PARK (10740 COLUMBUS GROVE-BLUFFTON RD., BLUFFTON, OH).
Explore the prairie in late fall at beautiful Motter Metro Park. We’ll inspect habitat restoration work and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature in late autumn. Dress for the weather.
