Ohio Attorney General's Office releases missing children numbers for 2017

The Ohio Attorney General's Office released the numbers of missing children in 2017 for National Missing Children's Day.

According to the report, over 20 thousand children were reported missing in the State of Ohio last year, with 303 of those cases made in Allen County alone. A majority of the cases in 2017 dealt with 13 to 17-year-olds reported as missing, and the top circumstance reported for missing children involved the child running away from home.

Currently, 700 children are listed as missing in the Ohio Attorney General's Missing Database.
