Ohio Governor Mike DeWine tests positive for COVID-19

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has tested positive for COVID-19 and is receiving treatment.

A press release from the governor's office says he tested positive on Friday and is reporting mild symptoms, including a runny nose and a sore throat. DeWine was diagnosed by his personal physician and is quarantining. Meanwhile, First Lady Fran DeWine has tested negative.

According to the press release, the governor received a monoclonal antibody treatment earlier Friday evening to fight the illness. The Republican governor has been fully vaccinated and received a booster shot.
