P&G celebrating 50 years in Lima

Procter & Gamble decided to celebrate their 50 years in the Lima community by running a special tent at the Allen County Fair.

Visitors could print off a coupon from the fair website to spin the wheel at the tent, taking home a prize that was made by Procter & Gamble. People 60 and older were also allowed to take home a few extra sample-sized items. The tent was a way for the company to connect with the community that they have now been a part of for the last five decades.

"We don’t separate ourselves from the community, we are part of the community, we can’t succeed unless the community succeeds, so we try to do things together," said Rodney Stark, the quality assurance manager for the P&G Lima Plant. "This is just one example that we have, getting out to the community, giving back just a little bit, and greeting people."

Procter & Gamble have been at the fair since the beginning of the week.
