ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Lima man was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for having sexual contact with two young victims over a 10-year period.
48-year-old Paul Bowman was sentenced Tuesday after a jury found him guilty in May of 10 counts of rape and 5 counts of sexual battery.
Prosecutors say Bowman started having sexual contact with the victims when they were under 13 years old, and it continued for many years until law enforcement was notified at the beginning of 2023. Bowman fled the area and was later arrested on the charges. He was also classified as a Tier 3 sex offender.
