ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Lima man has been found guilty of raping two girls over multiple years.
It took an Allen County jury an hour and a half to find 48-year-old Paul Bowman guilty of 10 counts of rape and five counts of sexual battery. Two additional charges were dropped on the final day of his trial.
Prosecutors say that Bowman started having sexual contact with the victims when they were under 13 years old and continued for many years until law enforcement was notified at the beginning of 2023.
All the rape charges are felonies of the first degree and could result in a maximum of 10 years in prison for each count. Judge Terri Kohlrieser set sentencing for June 25th.
