ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The trial of a Lima man who is facing multiple rape and sexual battery charges has been pushed back to May.
48-year-old Paul Bowman signed a time waiver today to move his trial from February to May. Bowman is facing 11 counts of rape and 6 counts of sexual battery for allegedly having sexual contact with a minor for over a decade, between 2012 and 2023. The indictment says the victim was under the age of 13 years old when some of the offenses occurred. The rape charges could mean a sentence of life in prison if he is found guilty. His next pretrial hearing is set for March.
