Preparing for the RNC

The Republican National Convention is this coming week and the delegates from Lima are preparing to leave for Cleveland. There are four Ohio Congressional District 4 delegates from Lima attending the week-long convention, where they will be participating in a variety of events. While there are a few concerns of security, the delegates have been assured that they will be safe throughout the week. First-time delegate Tracie Sanchez says that she's excited to make the trip and to hear more about presumptive republican nominee Donald Trump's running mate, Indiana governor Mike Pence.

"He's a lot more low-key than Donald Trump is, which I think will be great to balance what's been happening with Donald Trump and what's been happening with the party. I think he will bring a lot of calm to the Republican party and I think it's going to be a great thing. I think that was an excellent choice on his behalf," said Sanchez.

The delegates leave for Cleveland on Sunday.
