Retired Colonel Gregory Johnson is no stranger to the Armstrong Air and Space Museum and the Wapakoneta Summer Moon Festival making a return visit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing. Friday morning he shared his experiences as a pilot of NASA's Space Shuttle Endeavour, not once, but twice, with a group at Mercy Health St. Rita's, a sponsor of the 50th celebration. Johnson says he hopes this anniversary will spark future generations of astronauts.

"Neil Armstrong inspired me and I'm not a Neil Armstrong but I was one of the lucky guys to go fly in space and pursue my dreams and so I want to give back and hopefully inspire some other kids. We're going to have a lot of space flight in our future," said Colonel Gregory Johnson, retired NASA Astronaut.

Johnson says we have just scratched the surface of space travel and believes we will be back on the moon, to Mars, and beyond.
