Senior education majors at Ohio State Lima participated in mock interviews to help them prepare for the working world.
Local school administrators were on campus to put on the mock interviews with the soon-to-be graduates. The administrators asked questions that would likely be asked in a real interview, as well as giving advice for the students to improve their interview skills, something that will hopefully give these students a head start when they begin applying for jobs.
"Seeing a lot of questions that the interviewers as administrators are asking and it's preparing me in a way into a mindset going into these interviews," said Seth Stammen, a Middle Childhood Education major. "I know what to prepare for, I know the questions that they're asking and can improve upon that when I graduate and am applying for interviews for job positions."
Students were able to choose which schools to interview with, to best match the district of their choice as well as career interests.
