The Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities brought their mobile smart home to Allen County to showcase the latest advancements in technology that can help those who need supportive care. From a state-of-the-art tracking system to devices that help with overall communication, the mobile home hopes to show that there are advancements in overall care.

"Most looking forward to, for people to experience is just all the different options that they have," said Karen McCullough, Medicaid services manager. "There's bed sensors, and door sensors, and all the kinds of two-way monitoring and all kinds of technology that can be used to promote independence and yet also provide safety and security for people."

Staff members from the Board of Developmental Disabilities, as well as Allen County residents, toured the mobile home.
