LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â St. Gerard Catholic School held their third annual "Spring Art and Academic Showcase."
Kids accompanied by their parents saw a variety of art projects on display from literacy, social studies, and science scattered across the gymnasium.
The spring showcase featured work done by students of all ages throughout the school year. Kids accompanied by their parents saw a variety of art projects on display from literacy, social studies, and science scattered across the gymnasium. The event allows for the community to see the special gifts and talents that St. Gerard students possess.
"It's really awesome. It's just a great way to show their strengths in a different way. We often see the athletes getting recognized, the high honor academic kids getting recognized. But when we look at this, all of our kids have God given talents, and they're displayed all here tonight," added Natalie Schoonover, principal.
