LIMA, OH (WLIO) - While the City of Lima's Summer Playground Program doesn't start until Monday, the staff were out at the park getting geared up for the summer.
With only one location this year, the 75 spots for the summer filled up within two days. Today the staff were out at Faurot Park getting to know each other and meshing as a team. They include teachers from area schools and recent college graduates, all looking forward to providing a fun and educational summer for area children.
"This week we like to get them all together and doing different activities to see how they interact with each other and do some team-building activities with them," commented Julia Miller, playground coordinator.
There are several returning staff along with some first-timers on board.
