LIMA, OH (WLIO) - In response to recent shootings, including the tragic incident involving a teenager in the Rally Point Youth Center's parking lot, the City Life of Lima organized a city-wide prayer called Rally Cry. The event started at 10:00 am. and was open to the public for worship, reflection, and prayers to end the violence. Residents united to inspire change in the Lima community.
"If we believe in prayer, being that which God talks about prayer being, then we know that there's power behind it. And so, the end goal is that we begin to see a change in unity through prayer in our community for the best," explained Junior Ramos, Director of City Life.
City Life of Lima is planning to organize more community prayers. For more information, please visit their website or Facebook page.
