Thanks to the Friends of the Library, the Annual Christmas Tree Festival is back for its 32nd year. Visitors can marvel at the 48 trees, which local schools, organizations, and businesses have decorated. From now until December 27th, the Library's Ottawa Location will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays, so everyone can come and check out the wonderful Christmas Trees.

"Most people come in with their families or their children, and they walk around and look at the different themes, and they always discuss which ones they like better. And then on December 12th, we have the actual Christmas Tree Festival open house, and we will have at 3:30 p.m. Dulcimers music playing. At 5:00 p.m., Santa comes, and there are crafts for children. And then, the Lima Symphony Orchestra is coming at 6:00 p.m. to do a Lima Symphony Story Time." says Kelly Ward, Director of the Putnam County District Library.

The Christmas Tree Festival will feature a winning tree chosen randomly by drawing a number from a hat during the Open House.
