Update: Jury finds Daryl Hunt not guilty on all three counts
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A man is standing trial for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl that he allegedly lied to when he met her on Snapchat.
23-year-old Daryl Hunt is charged with three counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor. The alleged incidents happened in November and December of 2020. Hunt was 21 at the time, but according to the victim, he told her that he was 15 when they met, then he says he was 18 after they had sex. But, the defense says the victim is not telling the truth about what happened.
The jury was sent home after the victim took the stand to give her testimony. The trial will resume on Wednesday.
