A crowd gathered Friday evening at the former Taco Bell in Shawnee, where 20-year-old Damere Oliphant was found shot to death on March 27th.
Despite the weather, those who gathered lit candles and laid flowers and notes in Oliphant's memory. Shawnee Police Chief, Michael Keith says three people have been charged with the murder. 19-year-old Gavin Lauck was charged with murder and 20-year-old Collin Dysert along with 19-year-old Dalton Duncan were charged with complicity to murder.
The case will be presented to the Allen County Grand Jury to see if anymore charges will be files against the three suspects or anyone else involved in the case.
