Wood indicted on murder and other charges for death of 76-year-old woman.jpg

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A 25-year-old man was indicted by an Allen County Grand Jury for allegedly stabbing a woman to death in January. Daniel Wood is facing five charges including aggravated murder, burglary and grand theft of a motor vehicle. On January 8th, Lima Police Officers found a 76-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds. Wood was arrested a day later driving the victims car.   The judge set his bond at $2 million dollars. Wood is from Michigan and came to Lima for medical treatment. A background check shows Wood is a deserter from the U.S. Navy and had an active warrant for his arrest.
