The CBS Network has chosen the Cincinnati Bengals/Baltimore Ravens NFL game to be shown on CBS Lima on Sunday, January 8th at 1 p.m. This decision is out of Your Hometown Stations' control as we had requested to air the Cleveland Browns/Pittsburgh Steelers game. CBS denied that request and informed us that game will only be seen in the Cleveland/Youngstown TV markets in Ohio.

Woof Boom radio stations in Lima continued their annual initiative to support Allen County Children Services with a gift drive to collect everything from toys and books to those everyday essentials like laundry detergent and diapers. They managed to pack the van full and unloaded the items today at their Towne Square studio. Money is tight for many during the holidays, and the goal is to lighten the load for the families they support.

Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey reports that his Office is investigating an incident that took place at a farm in Marion Township. On Tuesday, November 15th at 8:59 PM Central Dispatch received a call from a concerned citizen. The caller reported that there is a disturbing video circulating involving a juvenile doing cruel acts to a young calf.

The #NoDeathPenaltyOH coalition made a stop in Lima for their "Ohio Innocence Tour." The featured speakers for the tour include three individuals who were exonerated or freed from death row.

It's one of the largest equestrian therapy programs in Ohio located right here in Cridersville at Fassett Farm. They are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for disabled children and adults. The facility welcomed a very special guest today as Jackie Scarry, the Miss Rodeo California for 2022, toured their facility to see how these therapy programs operate.

Because of weather conditions the Allen County Fair is canceling the Baton/Flag Corp Competition and the Kewpee Band show for Sunday.

The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus will be having two big shows Tuesday August 9th. Today, Skeeter the Clown was at Otterbein Cridersville doing what clowns do best, making people laugh. Skeeter is the front person for the circus promoting its arrival and how kids can participate in a coloring contest before the show.
