Young said he received a letter informing him he was eligible to apply and was instructed to submit an audition recording. After following the required steps, he was notified that he had been selected to perform in the series. Adding to the excitement is the mystery surrounding how his name was initially submitted.
Young said, "Basically how it usually works is that teacher has to, like, recommend you, but we couldn't find out what teacher recommended me or anything. I just got the letter in the mail."
