LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - A benefit will be held this Saturday, April 25th for a child in need.
Jr is a three-year-old in need of a multiple organ transplant. This Saturday, at Springbrook Gardens from 8 am to 9 pm, will be a number of events all working together to raise money for Jr's medical procedures. Events include a craft and vendor show, community cars, live music, dinner, and raffles. With so many vendor options, there is something for everyone at the team Jr benefit.
"We're just trying to raise money for Jr's surgery, he's having a multi-visceral transplant, because he's got multiple different diseases and stuff that can only be cured with a transplant for him," says Briana Tschuor, mother of Jr.
"Everything for everybody. Like I said, N and H is providing the meals, so I mean, it's a whole community thing and it's awesome that everybody has come together like they have," says Shauna Ice, supporter for Jr.
