Media sources state that Honda employees have been reporting getting less in their paychecks, some even missing hundreds of dollars. According to a statement sent to employees, American Honda Motor Company says that this is due to "tax withholding errors", while also pointing to a new human resources system and a payroll process for problems. They do further state that they plan to have this issue addressed as soon as possible.

On the 45th anniversary of Honda and state leaders announcing Honda will be building their first manufacturing plant in Ohio, they come together again to announce 4.2 billion dollars in investments for the production of their future electric vehicles. Honda is looking to produce only electric vehicles by 2040, so they are putting 700 million dollars into existing manufacturing plants in Marysville, East Liberty, and Anna to build them.

An art show and car show cruise-in entertained all ages as a chance to bring the hobbies together. Classic and antique cars from church members, and from people outside Allen County, showed off the hard work of the owners. They even got some unique cars to show up despite the rain.

Honda opened up their state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility at the Transportation Research Center in East Liberty. The $124 million facility will be able to test three separate functions, aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, and racing at one location. The tunnel can reach wind speeds up to 190 mph.

According to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies, the crash happened just before 8:30 am Monday morning in the 16,000 block of State Route 117 just outside of Roundhead.  No names have been released.  During the crash investigation, law enforcement determined that the vehicle of the 25-year-old driver from Columbus went left of center and hit a van head on.  The driver of the van was taken to Lima memorial with minor injuries.

July 10th, the Transmission Manufacturing Plant in Russells Point will be celebrating 25 years, and in May the plant in Georgia hit the 15-year mark. During that time, they have produced over 21 million transmissions and they are not slowing down. Plant managers say it is the associates that keep the plant growing and striving to meet the needs of Honda.

At around 2 p.m. first responders were called out to a two-car crash at the intersection of Napoleon Road and North Dixie Highway. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the blue Honda failed to stop at the stop sign, and the southbound truck hit the Honda. According to the Beaverdam Richland Fire & Rescue, the driver of the Honda was trapped, and the door had to be removed. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.

A person is in the hospital after a rollover crash outside of Beaverdam Wednesday evening. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says that around 5 p.m., a Honda was heading south on Swaney Road and stopped at the intersection at Sugar Creek Road.
