LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â It was a combination of interests that brought two shows together today at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
An art show and car show cruise-in entertained all ages as a chance to bring the hobbies together. Classic and antique cars from church members, and from people outside Allen County, showed off the hard work of the owners. They even got some unique cars to show up despite the rain.
"We do have two right-hand drive ford cars, an MG, and a Honda," said Bud Linton, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Car Cruise In. "We have one black vehicle that is Australian, he's been to several shows around the county. It's based on the Camaro."
"We just had so much talent in our congregation, we wanted to showcase that talent, and we were just surprised that there were so many people that could paint, could draw, and could do just anything. We just wanted to do that for ArtSpace Lima too and the Veteran's Food Pantry."
This was the first year for the event. Money and food were collected to donate to ArtSpace Lima and the Veterans Food Pantry.
