With something for both kids and adults, the event offers a variety of choices to suit all tastes. Whether you’re a lifelong comic book reader or new to the genre, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Marc Bowker owner of Alter Ego Comics says, “I’d like to help others. I’ve lived through lots of ups and downs as a small business owner. I’d like to help others experience more of the up and less of the downs. Those can be in areas of social media marketing, e-mail marketing, and taking care of yourself so you can take care of your customers and your team. Basically, want to help the next generation of small business owners achieve success here in Lima.”

The festival was created to be something fun and entertaining to do downtown. It’s a collaboration of several area businesspeople who are bonded by the love of art, music, and entrepreneurship. There will be something for everyone with live entertainment, great food, and creative art in a free, family-friendly environment.

On Saturday Alter Ego Comics hosted its annual Halloween Comic Fest, an event that will help them prepare for a future project.

Families got the chance to pick out free comic books, purchase various items and participate in a costume contest.They could even donate to the West Ohio Food Bank.
