The Lima affiliate of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice has awarded a college student a scholarship to help continue her education.
A Lima organization dedicated to raising awareness about suicide and mental health now has a brick-and-mortar location to call home. “You Matter Inc.” celebrated the opening of its new location in Shawnee Township.
WOFB Program Coordinator Shelly Neeley said, “They do so much for us and they support the food bank to be able to have us be able to provide back to them for as much as they give and support that allows us to give the support to the families and those who may need it at the time when they need.”
The West Central Association of Realtors hit the bowling lanes to support a local cause. At Westgate Entertainment Center, Realtors rolled strikes to raise money for Meals ‘til Monday.
