Barbara Bonifas said the ride brought back fond memories. “Just kind of exhilarating and fun to be out there swinging around in the snow, snow flying in your face. And you know, it just reminds us, well, when we were kids, and we were over at Farout Park, going down the hill.”
"We're offering residents some some activities that they've never done before. It's a great day for everybody to get together. Enjoy the sunshine, enjoy some AX throwing, some extreme trampolining, and just have an amazing time together," said Camille Frysinger, Director of Marketing.
The Cridersville Police Department is getting to know some of their residents who may not get out and about as much as they used to. Police Chief Nathan Fried spoke to a small group of Otterbein, Cridersville residents Tuesday afternoon. The chief was invited to join them for a morning cup of joe and a donut last fall, and it flourished into "Coffee with the Chief." It's a chance to build a bond between the department and the senior life facility.
Otterbein residents in Cridersville came together Tuesday afternoon for their annual Christmas gala. The residents gathered around decorated tables for a homemade gourmet dinner. During dinner, there was also entertainment including the Jazz Coasters traveling out to Cridersville to perform various Christmas-themed tunes for residents. Many residents look forward to this event each year as it brings them all together to enjoy the Christmas season.
Residents at Otterbein Cridersville were enjoying the eclipse on Monday. Events from crafts and painting to crosswords were put on for the residents to enjoy up to the moment of totality, where everyone gathered outside with their glasses to check out the view.
The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus will be having two big shows Tuesday August 9th. Today, Skeeter the Clown was at Otterbein Cridersville doing what clowns do best, making people laugh. Skeeter is the front person for the circus promoting its arrival and how kids can participate in a coloring contest before the show.
Otterbein Cridersville celebrated a new addition to their campus Friday morning. The new expansion to the campus was two years and $3.2 million in the making.
There was fun for the whole family to enjoy at the annual June Jubilee at Otterbein-Cridersville.
