Team Outreach Lima and several community partners are hosting “Out Loud and Unafraid” to continue conversations surrounding mental health awareness. The event will feature food, music, resources and guest speakers aimed at fostering connection and support in the community.

Team Outreach Lima hosted its third annual Grateful Thankful Dinner Party at CareCore, giving residents a festive day of food, games and music ahead of the holiday season.
“Well, we started about six, seven years ago,” said Quincy Peoples, Director of Fresh-N-Faded Team Outreach Lima. “We teamed up with fresher faded, you know, we reach out to the community of Lima, and they make these events special for either the nursing homes or the community or for the kids. That’s why it’s called Team Outreach Lima.”
Fresh-n-Faded and Team Outreach Lima made the season merry and bright for some seniors. The 2nd annual Christmas at Lochhaven party was held Thursday afternoon. First in the morning, Team Outreach and Santa brought presents to the residents at Lochhaven-- then in the afternoon they played their annual Bingo game. There were Christmas cookies passed around, gift bags and baskets were passed out, and Christmas music was played by the DJ. For Team Outreach and Fresh-n-Faded, this partnership has done what it set out to do since it was created, and that is make an impact in the community that shaped them.
Fresh N Faded and Team Outreach Lima saw a great turnout at their latest event for people with disabilities. The free event had bingo, karaoke and dancing, and food and drinks for community members with disabilities. Thanks to sponsors, there were plenty of prizes to be given away too. The event is just one of many that Team Outreach Lima hosts for those of different abilities, like their Ohio State Michigan Tailgate in the fall. Over 80 people came out, and all had a fun time.
Kids will be ready to get back to school after a downtown Lima block party gives them the tool and the shoe to get them started.
