LIMA (WLIO) - Waynesfield-Goshen is looking to get back to the playoffs after missing the postseason for the first time since 2019.

The Tigers went 5-5 last season and finished sixth in the Northwest Central Conference. New head coach Dan Faraglia takes over after spending 12 seasons as an assistant with the program.

Faraglia will lean on his experience while developing a young roster that includes junior tight end and defensive lineman Trenton Faraglia and projected sophomore starting quarterback Corbin Barnes.

The Tigers are also looking to win their first conference title in three years. Waynesfield-Goshen opens the 2026 season Friday against Mississinawa Valley.
