Fremont, Ohio — Findlay continued its dominant run through the Northern Lakes League on Friday night, shutting out Fremont Ross 42-0 to earn its fourth straight victory. The Trojans (4-1, 2-0 NLL) wasted no time building a commanding lead. Already ahead 28-0 in the second quarter, quarterback Miles Bailey launched a deep pass to Jed Scott, who hauled it in for a touchdown to extend the advantage. Findlay led 35-0 at halftime, triggering a running clock for the second half under OHSAA rules. The Trojans tacked on one more score after the break while keeping the Little Giants (2-3, 0-2 NLL) off the scoreboard for a complete team win. The Trojans' defense was dominant from start to finish, recording their first shutout of the season. The win sets up a home matchup next week against Clay, as Findlay looks to stay hot in conference play.
