ANNA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Anna Rockets extended their winning streak to four games Friday night, cruising past the Mechanicsburg Indians 46–12 in postseason action.
Junior Kale Hoying set the tone early for Anna, intercepting a pass from Mechanicsburg quarterback Conley Bogar and returning it all the way for a touchdown, putting the Rockets in front with a defensive score.
Moments later, the offense joined in on the action. Quarterback Logan Ziegenbusch kept the ball on a designed run and raced to the end zone to extend Anna’s lead.
From there, the Rockets controlled the pace on both sides of the ball, holding Mechanicsburg to just 12 points while steadily building their advantage.
With the 46–12 victory, Anna moves on to face Springfield Northeastern in the next round of postseason play.
