OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO) — Ottoville captured the district title with a dominant 53-21 win over Edgerton.

Early in the game, Brooklyn Koester set the tone, scoring two of her game-high 24 points on a smooth bounce pass finish.

Edgerton tried to answer back as Ava Swank spun and drove to the basket for a bucket.

But Ottoville kept the pressure on. Kate Turnwald found a wide-open Jenna Suever for a layup, putting her team ahead. Moments later, Karlee Horstman drained a three-pointer, stretching the lead further.

Ottoville controlled the rest of the game to secure the district championship.

The Lady Green will meet Tiffin Calvert in the regional semifinal at Bluffton University on Tuesday, March 3.
