LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Lima Central Catholic took control in the second half and cruised past Ottawa-Glandorf for a 61-34 victory at Lima Central Catholic High School.
The Thunderbirds got going early in the first quarter. After securing a defensive rebound, Jordan Priddy pushed the pace and found Jaxon White in transition, where the junior finished at the rim.
Ottawa-Glandorf answered on the other end, as senior Brayton Heitmeyer knocked down a 3-pointer.
Priddy quickly responded for Lima Central Catholic, stepping into a 3 of his own to give the Thunderbirds a four-point edge.
The teams traded baskets early, with Heitmeyer connecting again from beyond the arc to keep the Titans within striking distance.
Lima Central Catholic began to separate as the game went on. A pass from Brady Parker set up Priddy for a basket and a foul, part of a dominant night for the senior.
Priddy led all scorers with 31 points as the Thunderbirds pulled away.
Lima Central Catholic maintained its momentum and closed out the game with a decisive 61-34 win.
