LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — We’re still a few months away from the start of high school basketball, but one of the region’s top players has already made a big decision about his future.
Lima Senior guard Willie Foster signed his National Letter of Intent this afternoon, committing to Northern Kentucky University.
The high-flying senior had multiple offers on the table but ultimately chose the Norse, where he will continue his basketball career following his final season with the Spartans.
Foster is coming off a strong junior year, averaging 15.6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. He was named first team All-Toledo City League, second team All-District 8, and second team All-Northwest Ohio.
Foster says he’s excited to finish his senior season at Lima Senior while also preparing to take the next step at NKU.
