The win Tuesday night gave the Wildcats a two-game lead atop the Big 12 standings with three to play in the regular season. The 26-2 Wildcats erased a 10-point deficit early in the second half, then had to withstand a back-and-forth finish. There was a 13 1/2-minute stretch in which the margin never was more than two points and the lead changed hands 13 times. Baylor is 14-14.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Joshua Jefferson scored 21 points, Milan Momcilovic made four 3-pointers to break the Iowa State record for 3s in a season, and the fourth-ranked Cyclones beat Utah 75-59. Momcilovic entered the game with 100 3-pointers and surpassed Dedric Willoughby’s record of 102, set in 1997, when he hit back-to-back 3s in the second half. The 6-foot-8 junior forward has 104 3s after going 4 of 8 from deep against the Utes. He finished with 14 points. Terrence Brown scored 18 points, Don McHenry had 14 and Keanu Dawes added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Utes, who have lost nine of 10.

PROVO, Utah (AP) — Themus Fulks had 24 points and 11 assists, Jordan Burks also scored 24 and UCF shot 14 of 24 from 3-point range to run away from No. 19 BYU for a 97-84 upset. Jamichael Stillwell added 12 points, 12 rebounds and six assists as the Knights earned their first victory over the Cougars by shooting 56% from the field — including 58% on 3s. AJ Dybantsa led BYU with 29 points and eight rebounds. Robert Wright III had 20 points on 7-of-21 shooting, and Aleksej Kostic scored 14 off the bench. The Cougars shot 41% from the floor and trailed the entire way.

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Christian Anderson had 31 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, leading No. 16 Texas Tech past Cincinnati 80-68 for a second consecutive victory since star forward JT Toppin’s season-ending knee injury. Anderson’s eighth double-double of the season was his first with rebounds. It filled the void the Red Raiders are facing without Toppin, one of the nation’s double-double leaders. Moustapha Thiam had 21 points and 10 rebounds for Cincinnati. The Bearcats had a four-game winning streak stopped.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — TCU beats Arizona State 90 to 78 behind strong scoring from Micah Robinson and Xavier Edmonds. On Tuesday night, TCU grabs the lead for good with about six minutes left before halftime. The Horned Frogs push the margin as high as 18 in the second half. Robinson scores 20 points and Edmonds adds 17. TCU hits eight three-pointers. Brock Harding struggles from the field but scores 10 at the line and hands out 11 assists. Maurice Odum leads Arizona State with 21 points and 10 assists. TCU has won five of six.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State beats West Virginia 91-84 in overtime and snaps a five-game losing streak. On TUESDAY night, the Cowboys jump out fast in overtime and score the first seven points. Anthony Roy sparks the run with a three-point play. Parsa Fallah adds a free throw. Jaylen Curry hits a big three to stretch the lead late. West Virginia rallies from 14 down in the second half and forces overtime. Chance Moore ties it in the final minutes of regulation. Kanye Clary leads Oklahoma State with 17 points. Honor Huff hits six threes for West Virginia.

UNDATED (AP) — The Associated Press national player of the week in women’s basketball for Week 16 is Iowa's Ava Heiden. The sophomore center led No. 9 Iowa to wins over Nebraska, Purdue and Michigan last week, recording a double-double in each of the games. Madina Okot of No. 3 South Carolina was the runner-up. The senior center averaged 16.5 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks while helping the Gamecocks to a pair of Top 25 wins over Alabama and Ole Miss.
