Cameron Elwer’s 32 sends Delphos St. John’s past Cincinnati College Prep to regional final

VANDALIA (WLIO) — Cameron Elwer poured in a game-high 32 points as Delphos St. John’s defeated Cincinnati College Prep 71-57 in a Division VII regional semifinal at Vandalia Butler.
The Blue Jays jumped out to a fast start with a 10-0 run, highlighted by an early basket from Easton Elwer. The sophomore later knocked down a three-pointer and finished with 14 points as St. John’s carried a 31-25 lead into halftime.
Delphos St. John’s created separation in the second half behind Cameron Elwer and a three-point play from Tyce McClain that helped push the lead to double digits. Andrew Elwer added 15 points as the Blue Jays continued to control the game.
With the win, undefeated Delphos St. John’s advances to the regional championship game.
