ADA, Ohio (WLIO) — Ohio Northern kept its perfect conference record intact Saturday, defeating Marietta 42–9 on homecoming at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
In the first quarter, the Polar Bears’ defense set the tone as Shawnee graduate Myles Aldrich intercepted a tipped pass to give ONU early momentum. The offense quickly capitalized, with quarterback Sam Feldman connecting with Kyle Celestin for a touchdown to make it 7–0.
In the second quarter, Feldman handed off to Jordan Pettaway, who powered across the goal line to extend the lead to 14–3.
Feldman continued to make plays through the air, finding wide receiver Seth Borondy on a pair of key completions — including a fourth-down conversion that set up another score. The duo later linked up again for a touchdown to extend the lead to 21–3.
With the victory, Ohio Northern improves to 3–1 overall and remains unbeaten in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
