VAN WERT, Ohio (WLIO) — Ottawa-Glandorf left no doubt in Western Buckeye League play, defeating Van Wert to secure the league title outright.

The Lady Titans, who entered the night at 20-0, came out strong. After a missed shot, 6-foot-2 junior Madison McKee grabbed the rebound and finished the putback to spark a 6-0 run to open the game.

Van Wert answered moments later as freshman Flannery Foster scored off the glass to cut the deficit to one possession. But McKee responded once again, knocking down a jumper as she finished with a game-high 16 points.

In the closing moments of the first quarter, Savannah Recker swatted the ball away, and Gracie Lammers recovered it before finding Recker for a layup as time expired. Ottawa-Glandorf led by six after one.

Later in the contest, Findlay commit Karsyn Erford added to the advantage with a drive to the basket as she finished with 11 points.

Ottawa-Glandorf rolled to a 61-24 victory, securing its 17th Western Buckeye League championship and fifth straight league crown.
