Record falls on Day 2 of WOAL Championships; team titles go to Findlay girls, Bluffton boys

WAPAKONETA, OH — Day two of the Western Ohio Aquatic League Championship Meet saw big-time swims and new records at the Wapakoneta Water Park.
In the girls' 15 & over 50-meter backstroke, Angela Fronzaglia of the Westside Wave broke an 11-year-old meet record, clocking in at 30.37 seconds to take gold. Teammate Arleigh Amspoker finished close behind in a strong second-place showing.
Over in the boys’ final heat, Bluffton’s Jackson Bowlus delivered a dominant performance, leading from the first stroke to the final wall. He finished with a time of 28.06 seconds.
