WAPAKONETA (WLIO) — MAC champion St. Henry made it three wins over Marion Local this season, claiming a 39-32 district semifinal victory.
Molly Wendel opened the scoring with an and-one, while Clare Bruns paced the Flyers with 12 points, including a first-quarter triple. Addy Homan matched that total for the Redskins, who carried a 22-16 lead into halftime.
Marion Local trimmed the deficit in the third, but Morgan Baumer delivered a tough finish down the stretch to help St. Henry secure the win.
The Redskins advance to face Lincolnview on Saturday in Wapakoneta.
