Wright and Nagel capture Lima Junior Golf titles at Pike Run

OTTAWA, Ohio - Ashton Wright of Shawnee won a three-man playoff to claim the boys title at this week's Lima Junior Golf event at Pike Run Golf Club. Wright finished at 1-under, edging Minster's Max Voisard for first, while Lehman Catholic's Henry Petersen placed third. Ottoville's Evan Altenburger and Ottawa-Glandorf's Alex Bellman tied for fourth at even par, and St. John's graduate Parker Will shot a 76.
On the girls side, Botkins freshman Marian Nagel earned medalist honors with a round of 78. Houston's Delaney White finished second with a 79, while Jefferson's Brylee Geary placed third with an 81.
Lima Junior Golf returns to action Thursday at Sycamore Springs in Arlington.
