"In four days we can print a house, there's going to be vaulted ceilings, and should be 80% of the cost of a traditional building," Anthony McMichael, Sustainable Concrete Innovations co-owner.

This unique home located along State Route 198 in Wapakoneta is being built by Andre Rudenko and sustainable concrete innovations using mortar, the first 3D printer home in the state of Ohio will be available to rent for anyone looking for a new experience.

Skilled trades are still being utilized to put the home together.

"So we will still use all of the trades like electricians, plumbers, framers. What this is it just eliminates drywallers and certain other trades that are hard to come by right now," said McMichael.

And electricians come just a little bit away from Apollo Career Center as students work to not only help build this home but also get used to a future where automation is more prevalent.

"Yes, the future is going automated." Lucas Nagel, Apollo Career Systems instructor. "We want to make sure that our students are prepared to make that jump into the world of automation and not get left behind."

It's going to be only a few more days until this home is done and built, and the only limit on what you can use a 3D printer for is your imagination.

"As long as you just think out of the box, anything is possible, you know. and this is an affordable way for us to go into cities and urban communities, print a house in four days, and just move on down the line, and give everyone pretty much the American dream," said McMichael.
