People came out to support testicular cancer research in Delphos Saturday night (3/17/18).
The 8th annual Bowling for the Boyz event was held at the Delphos Recreational Center. There was a silent auction, live music, and a 50/50 raffle, the proceeds of which will all go to support testicular cancer research at the James Cancer Hospital. Organizers hope to raise at least $8,000 at the event, a goal that will put them over a huge milestone for the Jay Holdgreve Endowment.
"It's probably the most humbling experience I've ever had to be able to know that all these people are coming out to support this cause," says tcare.org founder Jay Holdgreve. "We'll go over $100,000 in the endowment tonight, you know, in 7 years it's kind of an amazing thing."
The Bowling for the Boyz event has raised $60,000 for the endowment so far.
