Lima City School students learn about the life of a professional recording artist.
Vinson ALaZ Muhammad has made a career of playing the trumpet around the world. He spoke to Lima Senior Highs School students reminding them of their importance and value and to choose to be successful. He says he focused on one thing, playing the trumpet and he became successful at it.
Vinson ALaz Muhammad says, “It’s been beautiful because I’ve been able to come up in an era where independent music is something that is a viable reality. So I’ve been able to create my own opportunities so it's been a phenomenal experience.”
Muhammad also visited with students at Liberty Arts Magnet and North Middle School as part of his Artist in Residency.
